eco stucco™ is a range of lime plasters designed to provide healthy, functional, and sustainable mineral finishes for walls, facades, and ceilings in the form of artistically handtrowel artisan plasters. A sustainable alternative to cement plaster, acrylic plaster, and other high embodied CO2 coating products, eco stucco™ cures and hardens naturally by carbonation and without exhalation of toxic, hazardous gases. During the curing process, the lime (calcium hydroxide) slowly absorbs the carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and releases its water content. The process results in a mineral crust made exclusively of calcium carbonate – the chemical structure of limestone – derived from the presence of sand and the carbonation of lime.

NHL 3.5 (55 lb. bag): Pure and natural hydraulic lime, moderately hydraulic, recommended for scratch & brown coat work over lath, concrete, straw bale, and masonry substrates as a sustainable alternative to cement.

UNILIME (66 lb. bag): Versatile lime plaster to provide mineral finishes a true mechanical key over substrates with low porosity. It may as well suit commercial settings where an economical single finish coat alternative is preferred. Unilime is also recommended to uniform substrates’ absorption, to improve adhesion, and to retard potential efflorescence.

FINISH
MURALIME (22 lb. pail): Natural mineral artisan plaster essentially composed of hydrated lime and extra fine aggregates (400-25). Versatile, it may be trowel applied in one or two coats or it may be brush applied in accordance with color washing and fresco techniques, making possible to achieve a wide array of textures from a plain, matte surface to a more polished one similar to marble. Whatever the texture, Muralime is appreciated for its natural mottled effects and its reflective qualities.

MINERA (55 lb. bag): Natural mineral artisan plaster essentially composed of hydrated lime, specific hydraulic binders, and fine aggregates – all factory-pre-mixed. It may be trowel or machine applied over a wide array of substrates. Far less prone to cracking than cement plasters, Minera is an ideal alternative to achieve hard-trowel, smooth exterior finishes. It is appreciated for its workability and resistance to impacts, abrasion, and thermal shocks.

TRADILIME (33 lb. bag): Natural mineral lime binder formulated to achieve the traditional stone textures limestone, travertine, and sandstone. It consists of hydrated lime, natural hydraulic lime, and mineral admixtures – all factory-premixed. Economical and functional Tradilime is mixed on site with sand resourced locally.

NATURAL SEALER
BLACK SOAP: Natural, organic soap, made true to the ancient soap used by the Romans. Dark in color, its key ingredient is olive oil. Black soap is a vital ingredient in the art of fine lime plaster finishes and particularly the Tadelakt of Morocco. When applied on fresh plaster, the oil comes in contact with moisture that contains calcium particles. When polishing, the cream penetrates the plaster, creating a durable waterproofing skin while adding richness and luster to the finish.
